"Lazy twat," Arthur muttered into his skin, which meant it came out sounding more like "Mphmph-mhphht."

He pressed a shoddy kiss to the underside of Merlin's jaw in a misguided attempt to keep him from hiding himself under said pillow.

"Shut up," Arthur told him, primly. "Don't move." He was trying to make his way up Merlin's jaw and it was hard considering the pillow.

Arthur rolled his eyes, reaching over to pluck the pillow out of the way. "You'll have plenty of time to sleep."

"You," Arthur told him, kissing the space just underneath his ear mostly for added affect, "Are such a massive girl."

"Now saying that's unfair," Arthur said, shooting him a look that was meant to portray annoyance but wound up somewhere between 'barely awake' and 'slightly frisky'. "For one, I never implied you had to do any of the work." He shuffled under the blankets so he could dig his face into the pillow.

If he muttered something along the lines of 'you're lucky you're gorgeous', it was safe to say it was both unintelligible and sign that someone wasn't awake enough to realise he wasn't using his inside voice yet.

"Now, Merlin," Arthur said, with a long-suffering sigh. "I never said you had to do any of the work now."

Arthur beamed at him innocently and threw an arm over his hip, brushing up to kiss him.

Arthur would've snorted, but-- okay, actually, he did snort. "It's the last day here," he muttered, "Have to make the best of it."

By brushing his fingers back into Merlin's hair and kissing him again.

"Shut up," he shot back. "You're the one who picks flowers."

Yep. He rubbed at Merlin's hip, and smoothed a thumb over a cheekbone upstairs.

"I thought I told you to shut up," Arthur muttered, without much fire, and pressed a light kiss back before licking briefly at Merlin's lower lip.

Arthur sighed, but offered up no further protest, skimming his fingers over the small of Merlin's back as he pressed closer, sucking on that bottom lip now.

He gave the skin of one of Merlin's arsecheeks a quick poke. "I told you," he said, "I'm perfectly willing to do all the work. But only this time."

Like by trying to insinuate his leg between Merlin's.

"Good thing no one's asking you to," Arthur told him, leaning in for another kiss as he started to move his hips. Look, lazy.

Was Merlin really complaining about that?

"I would actually be quite put out," Arthur said, nuzzling at his neck, "If you stood up right now."

"Excellent choice," Arthur said, pressing a happy sigh into Merlin's skin.
